My boss(es) are looking for designer who can redesign this really really bad website. lol
I wish I could do it but I'm already making two sites, and i dont have time,
so I decided to ask designers in CSUN!!
you won't get paid. (maybe you can negotiate), but you'll get gift certificate from this restaurant.
and maybe I'll be your server. lol
and maybe we'll have really nice sake together. oh no. i quit drinking. never mind.

If there are couple people who want to design then it could be like a competition too.
(I think that would be fun)

There are three owners and they all have different taste : )
so if you are desining then you gonna have to deal with three owners.
Dont worry they are really nice.
(one of them used to be a graphic designer too)
so, I guess it's good practice to learn about how to deal with client.

About this restaurant.

this is french mixed Japanese fusion Restaurant.
The restaurant was opened 8 month ago, so it's really new.
it's just couple blocks away from Beverly Center.
and name of the restaurant is Ronin Izakaya Bistro.

Ronin: samurai that has no master.
Izakaya: dining where people can enjoy food and sakes.

Concept of the restaurant:

the chef (one of the boss) used to be a french chef at hotel, so he wanted to create a restaurant that has no rule. (like ronin)
(for example, there's no wine glass. only cups.)

the restaurant has friendly cozy atmosphere.
and yes, casual. really casual. no dress code.
There is a projector, and we play samurai movie (black and white) on the wall.
also there are a lot of samurai sword on the counter.
but because we are bistro we play jazz/spanish/music. (no Japanese music at all)

customers are mostly white and asians (chinese and korean), but few japanese.
age range: college students to old people. mostly over 21 years old to 30, 40 years old.
it's good for dates and party.




Food:
Tapas. and yes french mixed. no SUSHI. but we have sashimi (cappacio)
we have really really nice wines, sakes, and japanese beers.

I just try to make everything simple.

This is not final so don't comment me about type and icons. : )

I know it's wrong. 

1st set: I just organized everything. put everything in the box that way it's more organized.

My biggest issue with facebook layout is that I don't know where to look at. there are so much things going on. so i just try to work on the part.

those two sets are almost same as the first set. I just changed the design of the box and

added advertisement thing on the right.

I really like this website. not just because it's cute, but it's really fun to look at.
there are so many things to discover, yet it's user friendly since the navigation bar is pretty obvious and well organized.

I think the website is just so cool. i like how things keep moving around everytime I click something. and also user friendly.
